The RX8010SJ launched by EPSON is a low-power I2C Bus interface real-time clock module that can be well applied in attendance machines. The output frequency error of RX8010SJ is very low, and at room temperature, VDD=3V, The frequency error is only 5 ± 23ppm, equivalent to a maximum monthly total error of only ± 60s. VDD=1.2V~5.5V, The frequency voltage offset is only ± 2ppm/V, and when VDD=3.0V, within the temperature range of Ta=-20 ℃~+70 ℃, the frequency temperature offset is only -120~+10ppm. This means that when the power supply voltage fluctuates or the external environmental temperature changes greatly, the frequency error caused by this is also small, making the attendance machine have high timing accuracy and stability.


The RX8010SJ supports I ² C-Bus interface and adopts standard SOP-8 packaging, with a small size, which can reduce the size occupation of related components on the PCB and facilitate the miniaturization design of attendance machines. Its biggest feature is that its power consumption is very low, When  32.768 kHz is turned on, its maximum power consumption is only 1.1 μ.
